The Partners

England’s Northwest in Brussels is managed by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA), in partnership with 4NW – Regional Leaders Board.

Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA)

The Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) works to deliver economic success in England’s Northwest by building the competitiveness of its businesses, people and places. Utilising its technical expertise and strategic influence, it helps the region’s 250,000+ businesses to develop and grow, as well as supporting international trade and encouraging inward investment.

4NW – Regional Leaders Board

4NW is the Leaders Board for the Northwest, putting key public, private and third sector stakeholders at the heart of decisions that shape the future of the Northwest, its people and places.

The same people who are involved in these decisions – council leaders, opinion formers and business leaders – are also responsible for delivering them, on the ground, through local councils, companies and organisations.

Its most important role is to provide democratic accountability to the Single Regional Strategy, RS2010. Produced in partnership with NWDA, the Strategy agrees and sets out investment in vital areas such as planning, housing & regeneration, transport, the economy and skills.
